If you, like most of the world use an Ipad, Iphone, or Android device….you’ll be very excited to learn about our new App. I believe that this is the first ever App created that focuses solely on patient and retail dining in the Healthcare segment. If I’m incorrect on this, please drop me a line, but for now we will proudly take the claim.
So what does this App thing do? Well for one, our goal was to find a way for our patients to learn more about our food program right at the bedside. Patients can down load the app, and then scan through some of our more popular menu items, and read how they are prepared as well as see pictures of the food before they order room service. They can also learn about our team mission, see pictures of recent catered events, get free recipes, as well as a link to our in-house, Black Hat Chef Culinary Training Program. Future plans are to include videos with cooking demos, more nutritional information, as well as healthy cooking and eating tips. As a co-worker, you can use this App to learn about all of our retail venues, as well as get up to date info on special events, promotions, future concepts, etc. Within the first week, we are proud to have 200 downloads on our newest project.
